About the Role
We are seeking a skilled H&H or drainage engineer with expertise in Hydraulics & Hydrology modeling and drainage design to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the United States, with proficiency in HEC-RAS and/or SWMM modeling. Experience with TxDOT and Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) projects is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
•Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater management, flood control, and drainage systems.
•Develop and review HEC-RAS and/or SWMM models for project design and drainage impact analysis.
•Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and reports for TxDOT, HCFCD, and other local projects.
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance.
•Conduct field assessments and provide technical support during project implementation.
Qualifications
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
•Licensure: EIT or PE in the United States.
•Experience: Minimum 3 years of H&H engineering experience in the United States.
•Skills: Strong knowledge of local drainage standards and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
•Prior work on TxDOT and/or HCFCD projects is strongly preferred.
•Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation, OpenRoads is a plus.
•PE license is preferred but EIT with 3 or more years of experience will be considered as well.
