We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer in Training to join our national engineering team. In this role, you will support electrical engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers, contributing to project execution and completion. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to help ensure projects meet high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Project Engineering:
•Support the delivery of electrical engineering projects, assisting with design, development, and execution under supervision.
•Contribute to electrical engineering projects from design to completion while adhering to schedule and budget.
•Coordinate engineering tasks within the Technical Services team, collaborating closely with the mechanical engineering department.
•Design and draft project-specific details using CAD software.
•Conduct periodic site visits to meet professional obligations and provide support.
Proposal Development:
•Assist in developing proposals by gathering information, coordinating with stakeholders, and preparing submission documents. Submit proposals under supervision and follow up with clients.
•Passively seek new opportunities through regular client interactions.
Project Administration:
•Maintain project information in the project management platform.
•Contribute to invoicing activities and related administrative tasks.
Technical Support:
•Develop a strong understanding of Charge Solar's product catalog.
•Provide technical assistance to clients in the field.
•Offer limited technical advice on renewable energy products.
Team Support:
•Actively participate in team and company-wide meetings, contributing technical expertise and design information.
•Support the team in developing and improving project delivery processes.
•Assist the sales, marketing, business development, and operations team in various activities as they relate to engineering services.
Qualifications:
Required:
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent and relevant area of study
•Registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT) with a provincial engineering association in Canada
•Proficiency in AutoCAD or DraftSight
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills
•Minimum two (2) years of work experience in a field related to the electrical engineering discipline. May include up to one (1) year of co-op experience.
•Legally allowed to work in Canada
•Possesses a Class 5 drivers license
•Strong desire to learn and develop within the renewable energy sector
Preferred:
•Relevant coursework, projects, or co-op experience in solar/renewable energy system design or implementation
•Experience in consulting, construction, or related fields
