Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and groundskeeping, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

•

Perform routine groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to ensure a neat appearance.

•

Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas, ensuring proper watering techniques are utilized for optimal plant health.

•

Assist in the planting, cultivating, and maintenance of flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation.

•

Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment for various landscaping tasks such as digging, building hardscape features, and maintaining garden beds.

•

Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.

•

Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment used in grounds maintenance activities.

•

Collaborate with team members to execute landscape design projects effectively.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is preferred but not required.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely.

•

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.

•

Familiarity with gardening techniques including planting, pruning, and pest management is a plus.

•

Proficiency in using hand tools related to landscaping tasks.

•

Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.

•

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
