Position: Grinder Operator

This person is responsible for preparing iron castings for shipping by cleaning, grinding, and palletizing each casting. The position is onsite, at the below address:

Location: 700 Tub Mill Run Road, West Salisbury, PA 15565

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm, overtime is available

Compensation: Dependent upon qualifications and experience - starting at $15.00/hr

Specific Job Functions

- Load and unload the blaster

- Safely remove gates and risers from the castings

- Accurately identify and mark scrap materials

- Ensure all scrap metal is put in the proper storage bins safely

- Accurately inspect castings for quality standards

- Assist in the assembly and palletizing of customer's orders

- Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned or required

Qualifications

- Competitive, motivated and self-directed with an appetite for learning

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Safe and skillful operation of mobile equipment

- Will train if no experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
