Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and fabrication, with experience operating various grinding and machining equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the precision and quality of our products, contributing to the overall efficiency of our production process.

Duties

- Operate grinding machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.

- Perform setup and adjustments on CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other equipment.

- Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality inspection.

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand job requirements.

- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required standards.

- Collaborate with team members in assembly, fabrication, and tooling processes.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

- Assist in troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on machinery as needed.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in manufacturing or machining environments.

- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and stamping presses.

- Familiarity with various fabrication techniques such as welding, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining, and press brake operation.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.

- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.

- Experience with quality inspection processes using precision measuring instruments.

- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.03 - $27.74 per hour
