Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our small family owned manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and fabrication, with the ability to operate various grinding machines and tools. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications.

Duties

- Operate grinding machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.

- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to tolerances.

- Conduct routine maintenance on grinding machines and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and assist in the setup of tooling for various projects.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

- Proven experience in machining or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical knowledge base.

- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection processes.
