We are currently looking for a Grinder Operator who is responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to shape, sharpen, and polish metal parts. You must be able to set up the grinding machines and adjust the cutting tools to achieve the desired results. Grinder Operators must also be knowledgeable in the safe use of the grinding machines and must possess a good understanding of the principles of grinding, such as angles, speed, pressure, and feed rate. They must also be able to record and maintain accurate production records and ensure that the machines are kept in good working order.
Our Grinder Operator will use grinding machines to produce finished parts and components from raw materials. This will involve setting up and operating the machines, ensuring that all safety protocols are observed, and inspecting the parts for accuracy. Having the ability to be responsible for maintaining the machines and performing basic repairs as required is a plus. This role is for our first or second shift.
$21 - $24 hourly
