Grid Operations Engineering Intern - MN, CO, TX

Grid Ops Engineering interns are responsible for supporting model tuning, tracking non communicating devices, assisting with alarm limits and special projects or GOE focuses.

- Work with the Engineering staff to support the Distribution Control Center and enable the ADMS software.

- Work as an entry level engineering analyst doing tasks that support the tools, programs, and databases used to perform various operational tasks such as outage coordination, power flow studies, and power system monitoring. Through practical operations experience and mentoring, a successful candidate will gain significant professional confidence and people skills.

Minimum Requirements

- Must be enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program, studying areas such as electrical and mechanical engineering.

- Must be a current Sophomore or Junior

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $18.80 to $24.00 per hour

This position is eligible for the following benefits: Pension, 401(k) plan, Paid time off (PTO)
