Governmental Affairs Internship

Tallahassee, Florida

What you'll be working on:

- Intern will assist securing meetings with legislative and governmental staff as directed

- Intern to assist staff with creation of briefing sheets, letters, memorandums, and other related materials for Government Affairs Unit Office while coordinating with Communications and Marketing, Organic growth or business development teams

- Will research and analyze various topics and policy and create informational briefings as requested and directed

- Assist and maintain the bill tracking list each week and put bill reports together with short descriptions for reporting to internal team and Board

- Assist with any special projects as directed

- Arrange logistics for conferences, legislative meetings, agency meetings, legislative visits and other related events as instructed and maintain legislative calendars

- Attend legislative committee meetings as directed and provide detailed notes on happenings during legislative session

- Attend all networking events as directed by Intern Supervisor and events related to company and industry interest

- Time frame: October 2025 start date

Who you are:

- Pursuing a degree with interest in Political Sciences, Public Relations, Pre-Law, or Business Administration.

- Able to provide Writing samples of previous work (Legislative summaries, reports, or articles etc.)
