GIS Technician

Meridian Surveys has offices in major centres across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, as well as projects throughout Western Canada.

We are currently seeking a GIS Technician to work in our Saskatoon office.

We do surveys for clients large and small – from private individuals requiring a boundary survey to commercial/industrial clients with larger scale projects.

Who you are:

Knowledge, Competencies, Abilities:

Our candidate must have knowledge of ArcGIS desktop software, as well as ArcGIS Online Web Map and Apps. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner, especially when faced with a time sensitive project.

Must be capable of carrying out all duties as instructed by Project Managers. Must be able communicate with the Branch Manager, Drafting Manager, office associates, field staff and Senior Management. Must possess excellent organizational and scheduling skills. Must be proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online features.
