ESA has been recruiting in the Upstream space for two decades. I'm currently working with an elite O&G focused Capital company in Houston who is seeking a Director of Geology. The role will be responsible for managing a team of 4 other Geo's responsible for evaluating basins around the world.
This role (and team) will have access to cutting edge technology and will work with Engineers and other Technicians to achieve its goals.
Here are some requirements and preferences for the role..
>>Must have very recent hands-on experience with Geology work
>>Must have a great foundation in using new technology
>>Prefer someone who also has experience with Petrophysics, Geomechanics, Geophysics etc..
>>The best candidates for this role are likely in the 10 - 20 yr range as they may have a mix of leadership and newtech exposure
>>This role is a high level role that comes with extensive responsibility, significant budget, and lofty goals. As a result, this role is not a good fit for candidates seeking a 9-5 role. The role also will not require as much time as a role in an industry like Investment Banking.
>>This role is an in-office role in Downtown Houston
