Perform underground roof scoping to identify the immediate roof geology and fractures and evaluate the quality and stability of the roof. Based on roof scoping and surface core hole data, create and maintain up-to-date geology cross-section maps.
Conduct underground geological mapping to identify geological anomalies and potential risks and provide geology conditions to mine management.
Based on the information collected from roof scoping, surface core hole, and underground mapping, create and update comprehensive geologic maps and provide projections for potential geological anomalies and risks.
Assist with geomechanical engineer to provide roof support recommendations for gate road development and longwall retreat to mine management.
Assist with geomechanical engineer to provide geological advice related to the mine’s current and future plans.
Assist with geomechanical engineer for other projects related to geotechnical services.
