Job Responsibilities:

•

Works without risk or harm to self or others

•

Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures

•

Safely operate both on and off-road vehicles

•

Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

•

Recognize, control, and communicate safety or environmental hazards

General duties when working on this project:

•

Duties involving Drillers: lining up rigs, communicating management objectives to drill crews, and maintaining communication with drillers to keep management updated on things like mechanical issues, hole quality, and surveys.

•

Coreshack Duties: logging core + RC chips, sampling, geoteching, core cutting, geophysics and structural measurements

•

Geological field duties: soil sampling, field mapping, and investigating areas of interest to management

•

Communication: writing daily progress reports for management and maintaining contact with management to understand current priorities

•

Logistical activities: handling inventory and sample shipments

Requirements:

•

Ability to walk up, down, and over rough terrain

•

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout the day

•

Ability to work in adverse weather conditions

•

Working knowledge and skill using personal computers

•

Experience reading maps, using a GPS, and driving off-road is preferred

•

Bachelor's degree in Geology

•

Requires a valid driver's license
