In a fast paced, physically demanding environment; the Ramp Hand is the front line of the company, who reports directly to facility technicians.
It will be the Ramp hands duty to keep all equipment and tools on the ramp clean and in good operating condition as well as training newly hired ramp hands how to maintain ramp condition.
Ramp hands must supervise and assist hydrovac drivers to ensure they follow safe unloading procedures. They will participate in safety meetings to ensure all hazards are identified and controlled, providing a safe work environment for employees and patrons.

The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills, be career orientated, self-motivated, punctual and have reliable transportation to the facility.
Rig experience, loader experience, basic knowledge of pumps/flow systems, first-aid would be an asset, but are not mandatory.
Ramp hand tasks will include, but are not limited to :
- Supervising and assisting hydrovac operators throughout the unloading process
- Maintaining a safe workplace for hydrovac operators and employees
- Maintaining ramp equipment and notifying facility operator of Ramp deficiencies (hoppers, hopper screens, hydraulic hoses, ect.)
- Washing rock efficiently and safely, ensuring they are free of debris
- Constant communication with facility operators to maximize efficiency
- Continuously learning and following standard operating procedures
