About This Job

Cabmat Inc. has an IMMEDIATE opening for a skilled tow motor operator in Aurora, OH

Shift - 7:30AM-4PM

Willing to stay until the job is complete

Pay - $18-$20 an hour

The tow motor operator is responsible for the unloading and loading of dry vans and overseas containers. They operator is also responsible for the correct positioning of inventory in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

•

Operate tow motor in a safe and efficient manor

•

Perform daily safety and maintenance checks

•

Clean equipment as scheduled and/or required

•

Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored at close of shift

•

Advise direct supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs

•

Unload trucks in a fast paced environment

•

Load trucks according to axle weights and following safe loading practices in a fast paced environment

•

All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

•

Experience/Skills:

•

At least 3 years of dedicated LP sit down tow motor operator experience

•

Minimum of 30 hours per week actively operating a LP sit down tow motor

•

Attention to detail

•

Ability to preform in a fast paced environment

•

Ability to retain information and recall it at a later date

•

Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

•

The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done

•

Standing, stooping kneeling, squatting, climbing or sitting for long periods of time

•

Ability to lift 50 Lbs

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
