General Laborer - Metals Room

General Laborer- 2nd Shift - 2P - 10:30 P

Education: High School Diploma or GED

1. Clean and maintain skid and cardboard recycling area.

2. Using sawzall, cuts cardboard boxes and places in the bailer.

3. Sorts skids and removes damaged unusable skis and places them in the proper recycling container.

4. Using forklift, removes all barrels of trash, crucible scrap and refractory and dumps them in the proper recycling container.

5. Using the forklift, places barrels of slag on skids. Using the metal strapping equipment, straps the barrels together on the skid. Weighs, tags and identifies material for shipment.

6. Performs any housekeeping duties as required during the daily operation.

7. Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.15 per hour
