Position: General Laborer – Steel Fabrication (Wire Wheeling)

Join our hardworking and safety-focused fabrication team! We’re seeking a dependable General Laborer to support daily operations in our steel shop, (mostly wire wheeling and surface prep)

Responsibilities

•

Perform wire wheeling to clean and prepare steel surfaces for welding, priming, or finishing.

•

Assist with general shop tasks including cutting, grinding, lifting, and moving steel materials.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

•

Support welders and fabricators with setup and post-work cleanup.

•

Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery under supervision.

•

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.

Requirements

•

Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.

•

Comfortable working in a physically demanding, industrial environment.

•

Experience in metal prep or fabrication is helpful, but not required—training provided.

•

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.

•

Familiarity with wire wheels, grinders, and basic shop tools preferred.

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

•

Forklift experience

•

Basic welding knowledge

•

Mechanical aptitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
