Position is responsible for marketing duties of gas owned or taken-in-kind by the JMA companies and supervising production and regulatory activities of other engineering personnel as required.
Work with pipelines and markets to ensure JMA and affiliated companies are accounted for through nomination and allocations.
Manage and conduct the nomination process for natural gas. Review current volumes on all operated wells and take-in-kind wells to obtain the best estimated volumes for the nomination process.
Calculate total volumes by contract & pipe to determine the volumes used for split of gas between index and spot pricing.
Coordinate volumes with the purchaser as to the packages (i.e., ETC, Markwest, Tall Oak) which we market through them.
Work with non-operators on new wells regarding pipeline connections and assist with making timely marketing elections.
Monitor monthly pipeline imbalances, review invoices, and update nominations throughout the month to minimize pipeline imbalances.
Maintain an up-to-date filing system for Gas Marketing Agreements, Gathering Agreements, and Purchasing Agreements governing JMA’s marketed volumes.
Maintain nominations sheets for JMA operated wells and take-in-kind wells. Advise Division Order and Accounting personnel of any changes in owners marketing elections.
Update the NGL summary report monthly for Management.
Update monthly inside FERC reporting and distribute to management.
Prepare and distribute daily gas pricing reports including the NGI report, Price Comparison Index vs. Cash Report & the Comparison to Index Report.
Prepare JMA operated gas balancing statements and distribute, as necessary.
Prepare quarterly Management reports for gas balancing status.
Review non-operated statements for inclusion in Management reports.
