Garbage Truck Helper

Duties:

- Collect and dispose of refuse and recyclable materials from residential and commercial areas

- Operate various types of refuse collection vehicles, including rear loader trucks.

- Load and unload refuse containers onto collection vehicles

- Maintain cleanliness of collection vehicles and report any mechanical issues

- Assist with other duties as assigned

Experience:

- Previous experience as a refuse collector or in a similar role preferred, but not necessary

- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on collection vehicles
