Class B CDL Garbage Truck Driver

This is a very hard to find non-labor job opportunity within the waste industry that allows you a 3-day weekend every week!

Pay: $175 per day!

Class B CDL with 3-years experience is required for this position, experience driving garbage trucks is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.

Typical day: Show up 6:00 am at our Sweeny location on Hwy 35 and perform pre-trip inspection before heading to the landfill. Go straight from landfill to start your iPad GPS guided route. Safely drive our truck and 2-throwers to all customers on that days route that range from residential to commercial. You do not get out of truck and throw trash, there are 2-throwers that ride with you to perform the labor while you take pictures on iPad of all customers that didn't have their trash out. After route is complete (routes average 8-10 hours but can go longer depending on weather conditions, extended waits at the landfill, truck breakdowns, etc...) safely drive the truck back to our office on Hwy 35 in Sweeny. Driver and 2-throwers are to clean truck every day immediately following route completion. Lastly you perform the post trip inspection.

This is a 1099-contractor position and thus we do not take taxes out of your weekly check or offer medical, dental or vision benefits with this position.
