G&I Plant Pump Operator II

General Description:

The G&I Plant Operator II supports internal and external client needs by performing manual job requirements as well as training and managing staff, maintaining equipment, and manifesting waste materials.

This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCI's mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

+ Batch testing for particle size, density, rheology + Monitoring and maintaining appropriate injection rates + Maintain 100% “Safety Standards and Accountability” in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include: + Maintain compliance with required HSE Training. + Ensure all work conducted in his / her area is properly permitted. + Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe. + Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident. + Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives. The G&I Plant Operator has STOP work authority. + Participating in safety meetings, work safely, and maintain a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services. + Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working. + Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client. + Promote and participate in Safety Programs.
