Position Overview
This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys engaging directly with homeowners. You’ll be supported by our office staff, who will schedule your leads and appointments, allowing you to focus on what you do best—identifying issues, offering solutions, and building trust with customers. Onsite, you’ll assess exterior repair needs, and provide professional recommendations. You will then write up an estimate or contract, and either complete the work yourself or schedule it for follow-up. A key part of this position where you can earn commissions, is recognizing opportunities to turn your repair visits into full project sales. This is a sales-forward position where you can sometimes turn repairs into full roof replacements, siding upgrades, or multi-scope renovations.
The work includes a wide variety of exterior repairs including fascia and trim repairs, siding work, gutter fixes, minor carpentry, roof inspections, roof repairs, flashing fixes and more.
Key Responsibilities:
•Travel to homes and job sites throughout Massachusetts and surrounding areas (Company truck and fuel provided)
•Meet with clients at scheduled appointments to evaluate repair needs
•Inspect and diagnose issues related to roofing, siding, gutters, flashing, fascia, trim, and other general exterior conditions
•Provide on-site explanations and write clear, professional proposals or contracts
•Upsell additional services and upgrades, such as full roof replacements, siding
•improvements, or multi-scope renovations
•Complete small to mid-sized repairs ensuring high quality craftmanship
•Maintain high standards of cleanliness, craftsmanship, and communication
•Document all job-related details, customer interactions, and material needs
•Coordinate closely with the office team and uphold our company’s reputation for quality
Ideal Candidate:
•Hands-on experience in a wide variety of exterior repairs
•Strong sales motivation with a proven ability to upsell
•Comfortable speaking with homeowners and discussing service options and pricing
•Reliable, honest, and organized with strong attention to detail
•Self-motivated and capable of working independently
•Calm under pressure with strong follow-through
•Experience using AccuLynx or similar software is a plus (training provided)
Requirements:
•Valid driver's license (company vehicle and fuel provided)
•Ability to lift up to 50lbs and use basic hand and power tools (company tools and ladders provided)
•Excellent communication and customer service skills
•Background check required
•Available for a consistent full-time schedule (32+ hours/week)
