Our firm has been engaged by an established family-owned Oil and Gas royalty and minerals company in North Dallas to locate a Bookkeeper/Accountant to be responsible for full-cycle accounting.
During our client's 4 decade history in the Oil & Gas business, they have essentially experienced -0- turnover. For some reason(s), employees DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE THIS SMALL FAMILY OFFICE

- Update/maintain all accounting records using QuickBooks Pro software; make A/P entries into software system and pay invoices.
- Manage general ledger, chart of accounts, cash accounts, mineral acquisitions, fixed assets, depletion, and accounts payable.
- Reconcile all financial accounts, produce financial reports and prepare monthly financial close.
- Assist with internal controls, policies, procedures, and policies over financial reporting and other operational functions.
- Coordinate daily banking procedures, including daily cash deposits and cash reconciliations.
- Monitor all royalty payments recorded. Research royalty payments & revenue.
- 5+ years of payroll, financial statements, bank reconciliation, and general bookkeeping experience.
- Relevant O&G, real estate, legal, or property experience preferred. Office management experience a plus.
- Advanced QuickBooks + Microsoft Office skills required.
