Job Summary
In this fast-paced, high-stakes role, you'll work hand-in-hand with the Sr. Director of Fuel Supply to procure unleaded, diesel, and other fuels at the most competitive costwhether through strategic contracts or split-second spot deals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, loves solving complex puzzles, and knows the fuel market like the back of their hand.
What You'll Do (a.k.a. Your Daily Fuel Fix)*
Fuel the Network: Maintain strong relationships with existing fuel suppliers and actively scout opportunities to expand the supply base.
•Crisis Commander: Jump into action during supply interruptionssecure alternate sourcing, negotiate day deals, and manage in-tank transfers like a pro.
•Pricing Powerhouse: Monitor supplier price changes throughout the day, craft daily rack sheets, and suggest smart pricing strategies that boost profit margins.
•System Savvy: Update internal systems with current sales cost pricing and manual supplier pricing, ensuring real-time accuracy across teams.
•Dispatch Dynamo: Keep dispatch informed on preferred loading locations and evolving supply scenarios.
•Contract Whisperer: Manage fuel contract liftings and keep sales and dispatch teams aligned on contract progress.
•Deal Negotiator: Step in when sales outpace contract volumesnegotiate day deals and keep the supply flowing smoothly.
•Allocation Architect: Maintain and monitor allocation systems across suppliers, ensuring access is uninterrupted.
•Inventory Inspector: Reconcile and adjust inventory levels at the Phoenix Bulk Plant; track and maintain pipeline and in-tank inventories.
•Billing Detective: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in fuel billing with suppliers.
•Pipeline Pro: Handle monthly nominations for pipeline deliveries into various marketstimely, accurate, and on-point.
•Cross-Team Collaborator: Support various departments with market insights, bid support, supply analysis, and everything in between.
•Weekend Warrior (Sometimes): Be available on weekends or on-call as needed for dispatch updates and daily sales pricing input.
•Industry Ambassador: Represent Senergy at association meetings and industry eventsbuild the brand, share insights, and stay ahead of trends.

Preferred* Bachelors degree in an applicable field.
•Sales or operations experience in lubricant and fuel industry.
