Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Loader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials and products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment.

Duties

•

Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.

•

Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage product flow.

•

Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.

•

Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and accessibility.

•

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.

•

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of loading/unloading tasks.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.

Skills

•

Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, cranes, and order pickers.

•

Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is highly desirable.

•

Strong ability in load/unload processes with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

•

Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.

•

Knowledge of materials handling best practices to ensure safe transport of goods within the warehouse environment.

•

Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

•

Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards at all times.

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
