Summary
As an Excavator Operator, you will be essential in executing construction projects efficiently and safely. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your core expertise in excavator and heavy equipment operation will be vital in moving earth and materials on-site. Additionally, familiarity with construction site protocols and relevant equipment like dump trucks and graders will ensure you contribute effectively to the team's success in delivering high-quality results. Responsibilities
•Operate excavators and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.
•Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
•Collaborate with team members to execute construction tasks, including loader and backhoe operations.
•Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
•Transport materials using dump trucks and water trucks as needed.
•Assist in horizontal drilling and grading operations as required.
Qualifications
•Proven experience as an Excavator Operator with a strong background in heavy equipment operation.
•Proficient in operating various machinery including loaders, backhoes, and graders.
•Mechanical knowledge and commercial driving experience are highly desirable.
•Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
•Ability to operate water trucks and perform horizontal drilling tasks effectively.
•Experience with Caterpillar equipment and dump truck operations is a plus.
