Form Setter/Concrete Finisher

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to concrete work, including forming, pouring, and finishing. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare worksites for concrete pouring by setting up forms and ensuring proper alignment

- Pour concrete into forms using various techniques, such as using a concrete mixer or pumping

- Smooth and level concrete surfaces using hand tools or power tools

- Apply finishing techniques, such as troweling or brooming, to achieve desired texture and appearance

- Repair or restore damaged concrete structures

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects

- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role

- Strong knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, and finishing techniques

- Proficient in the use of power tools and equipment related to concrete work

- Familiarity with masonry and frame carpentry is a plus

- Ability to operate heavy equipment is an advantage

- Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
