Forklift Operator

Permian Enterprises is seeking Forklift Operator at our Odessa, TX pipe yard.

The Forklift Operator will operate an industrial forklift to transport and stack drill pipe.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:

- Transports requested materials to and from various locations within the work location.

- Obtains production schedule and/or shipping orders and then loads/unloads, transports or stores requested materials accordingly.

- Applies understanding of machine loading capacity and loading schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient handling of required items.

- Reports any problems with materials or transportation to supervisor.

- Services equipment as needed, reporting mechanical or electrical difficulties to management.

- Maintains a safe and aesthetic environment at all times by assisting in the yard clean up.

- Assists ground crew with rack maintenance and/or production.

- Performs other related duties as requested.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 year experience operation a forklift in a pipe yard environment

- Forklift Certification

- Proficient in English (speak, read, write)

- Valid driver's license and good driving record

- Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
