Forklift Operator

For over 40 years Travis Industries has been designing and building industry leading award winning hearth heating appliances. We are the largest privately held wood, gas, and pellet stove, insert, and fireplace company in America encompassing multiple brands; Fireplace Xtrodinair, DaVinci Custom Fireplaces, Lopi, and Tempest Torch. Our products are all built in the "House of Fire", our Mukilteo Washington facility encompassing over 11 acres of manufacturing under one roof.

Job duties include (but are not limited to):

- Move and stack materials.

- Empty trash and recycling bins into dumpsters.

- Follow current good warehousing practice.

- Assist with assembly.

- Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures.

- Quality work habits and good attendance are keys to success in this position.

- Some English literacy required for work order and schedule understanding.

- Shift is Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm.

Qualifications

- Proficient in operating propane forklifts

- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures

- Strong communication skills in verbal and written English

- Ability to load and unload materials efficiently

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols

- Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand 8 hours a day, be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be eligible to work in the United States. Travis Industries is an equal opportunity employer.
