An emphasis on any prior experience in packing/receiving/shipping is preferred. Having an attention to detail with paperwork is a major plus, including manifests, material tags, and load sheets. Forklift experience is required.
•
Assist the Supervisor in any phase of their duties
•
Maximize LBS. per truck load.
•
Communicate with Production Control and Customer Service.
•
Interface with Work Leaders to ensure what is being packed, will ship as scheduled.
•
Accurate reporting.
•
Remove the defective material and notify supervisor of these defects.
•
Pack material per customer packing instructions.
•
Verify lengths recorded on the bundle and tags are correct.
•
Verify the piece counts on the bundles and tags are correct.
•
May be required to lift up to 50lbs. for certain orders.
•
Train for Work Leader position
•
$500 probation / sign-on bonus & up $390 quarterly for safety and attendance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.32 per hour
