Material Handler/Production Runner
Position Summary
Support machine uptime and production flow by assisting with material handling, setup, teardown, and maintaining organization on the manufacturing floor.
Key Responsibilities
Job Setup Support:
•Retrieve and deliver materials from the warehouse to production.
•Assist with loading coils onto tables and reels.
•Supply scrap tubs and required dunnage (pallets, containers, etc.).
Job Tear Down Support:
•Return unused materials to the warehouse.
•Transport full scrap tubs and finished parts.
•Assist with banding and returning unused material coils.
General Production Support:
•Move dies between Stamping and Tool Maintenance departments.
•Proactively stage materials to avoid production delays.
•Maintain lube storage and manage supplies.
•Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
•Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Previous material handling or production floor experience preferred.
•Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
•Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
•Solid commitment to safety and efficiency.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
•Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
•Must be able to move freely across the production floor.
•Requires physical mobility, independence, and sound judgment.
•Excellent hand-eye coordination and reaction time.
•Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift.
•Exposure to noise, dust, and metal particles in a manufacturing setting.
•Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
•Responsibilities may change based on production needs.
Schedule
•Monday to Friday (Potential for overtime or Saturdays) 6AM–4:30PM
•Sunday to Wednesday (Potential for overtime) 8PM–6AM
