Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
•
Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
•
Operate various types of heavy equipment, including clamp trucks and cherry pickers, to move products throughout the warehouse.
•
Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and ensuring accurate order picking.
•
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
•
Build pallets and prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring all items are securely packaged.
•
Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
•
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
•
Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management systems.
•
Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery, including cranes, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers.
•
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
•
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
•
Valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
