Perform maintenance/repairs on sedans, light/medium/heavy trucks, trailers and heavy work equipment and any attached equipment, and/or auxiliary
equipment, which is part of the specialized vehicles, operated by the Company. The following list sets forth the principal duties required for the job. This list is not intended to limit assignment of work or the degree of supervision under all operating conditions. Employee may perform miscellaneous, related, and incidental work in addition to that specifically outlined below.
Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school graduate or GED required. Experience: At least 2 years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis with hydraulic and diesel repair experience. Graduation from an automotive trade school with diesel engine experience is highly desirable. Licenses/Certifications: Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. Must obtain Class A CDL within 12 months of entry date into the Fleet Technician B classification or vacate the job classification.
Must obtain Fluid Power Society Certification and two (2) applicable ASE certifications within 24 months of entry date or vacate the current job classification.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
These are additional expectations for the job and could include specific work experience, license / certifications, preemployment testing, expectations about travel, shift work, etc.

Compensation Range:
$32.31-34.26 USD
The Physical Demand Level for this job is: H – Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
