Position at Freedom Forever
Manage all aspects of vehicle repairs from first notice of loss to the vehicle's return to the field. Oversee collisions to determine at-fault party then pursue appropriate action. Ensure vendor repairs vehicles so they will operate safely, timely, and at an appropriate cost commensurate with the repair.
•Pay range $68,640K-$100K + Benefits
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
•Responsible for ensuring vehicles are repaired in the safest and most cost-effective manner with as little down time as possible.
•Manage vendor execution for repair pricing, supplements, down time, and accurate invoice with repair vendor
•Review and approve the validity of all supplement requests
•Proactively provides stakeholders with information regarding their vehicle's cost of repair estimate and explains claims/repair process
•Ensure repair vendors complete timely estimates, supplements, and inspections
•Ensure vendors negotiate advanced fees for tow, tear down, and storage on all vehicles that are determined to a financial total loss at a repair facility or tow yard
•Oversee investigation, evaluation, and settle property damage claims, applying technical knowledge and human relations skills to effect fair and prompt disposal of cases and to contribute to a reduced loss ratio
•Oversee vendor execution on verifying and analyzing data used in settling claims to ensure that claims are valid and that settlements are made according to company practices and procedures
•Pursue subrogation when applicable
•Review vehicle utilization and partner with the field to find alternatives to rental vehicles while vehicles are down
•Liaise with internal Risk Management and/or third-party risk/insurance companies when needed
•Interact on daily basis to facilitate ongoing operations and maintenance repair authorizations
•Monitor performance and costs that may necessitate adjustments
•Manage the return of the vehicle with the field
•Cross train on fuel cards & maintenance repair approvals to fill in or assist as needed
•Additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by leadership
•Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
Education & Certifications:
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent
•TX adjuster license required
Experience
•7+ years of experience directly managing vehicle repair completion
•Light duty truck and cargo van experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
•Teamwork and initiative-taker mentality is a must
•Knowledge of insurance practices, risk management and collision repairs
•Ability to constructively negotiate and resolve conflict
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
