Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team at Midwest Structural Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures according to specifications. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our projects, ensuring quality and precision in every weld.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.

- Utilize welding techniques to fabricate components from various materials.

- Operate power tools and welding equipment safely and efficiently.

- Perform fitting tasks, ensuring accurate alignment of parts during assembly.

- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role in the manufacturing sector.

- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.

- Familiarity with power tools and mechanical systems is essential.

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required for fabrication.

Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
