Fitter/Welder

AW Specialties LLC is a metal fabrication company located in Claremore, OK.

Duties:

- Perform MIG welding tasks on metal fabrications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine the specifications for the project.

- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and shaping metal components.

- Set up and operate welding machines and tools, ensuring proper settings and adjustments.

- Weld components together according to specified measurements and codes standards.

- Inspect welded joints for quality and accuracy, making any necessary repairs or adjustments.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet project deadlines.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills:

- Proficient in MIG welding.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

- Strong knowledge of codes standards related to welding processes.

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.

- Experience with soldering, plasma cutting, micrometer usage, and sheet metal fabrication.

- Familiarity with operating cranes and forklifts for material handling.

Wages will be based on welding experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
