Position Overview:

American Anthracite is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to support our budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis functions. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role plays a crucial part in enabling the organization to make informed, data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial planning, reporting, and analysis within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

•

Support the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.

•

Collaborate with department leaders to validate financial assumptions and monitor performance.

•

Prepare internal financial reports, variance analyses, and key performance dashboards.

•

Conduct cost analyses, track margins, and model scenarios to support informed decision-making.

•

Assist with month-end close processes

•

Back up other accounting and finance functions as needed.

•

Provide financial insights to support capital planning, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.

•

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the planning and reporting process.

Qualifications:

•

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

•

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a similar financial role.

•

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP and reporting tools preferred.

•

Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.

•

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
