Job Summary:

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager at Middlesex Water Company will lead and oversee the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. This critical role will provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and drive sustainable growth for the company. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting and driving the Company’s Values, RIGHT: Respect, Integrity, Growth, Honesty and Teamwork.

Work Performed:

Regulatory Rate Filings and Analysis

+ Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, including revenue and expense forecasting. + Prepare long-range financial plans and forecasts, aligning with the company's strategic objectives. + Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with operational goals. + Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, including variance analysis and management reporting. + Prepare insightful financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors. + Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making. + Develop and maintain financial models to assess the impact of various business scenarios. + Support the CFO and Investor Relations in the preparation of the investor presentations. + Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. + Implement new financial tools and technologies to drive data-driven decision-making. + Collaborate with IT and other departments to streamline financial workflows, reporting, system implementation and upgrades
