Financial Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. Duties

- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis using tools such as SQL, VBA, and Microsoft Excel to identify trends and support business strategies.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft PowerPoint to visualize key financial metrics.

- Manage and analyze data from multiple sources including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Hyperion, and other ERP systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis processes by leveraging databases and accounting software like Microsoft Dynamics GP and accounting systems.

- Perform auditing procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research projects related to financial performance, market trends, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Assist in the implementation of business intelligence solutions to enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.

- Prepare detailed presentations for executive leadership using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other business intelligence tools.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in finance, analytics, and technology to recommend process improvements.

Skills

- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Excel (including VBA), SQL, Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, NetSuite, and other ERP systems.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, budgeting processes, and investment analysis within financial services or investment banking sectors.

- Experience working with databases such as Microsoft Access or similar data management tools.

- Bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus for global organizations.

- Excellent research capabilities combined with strong analysis skills to interpret complex financial data effectively.

- Expertise in data visualization techniques to communicate insights clearly through dashboards and reports.

- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies aimed at optimizing financial processes.

- Exceptional communication skills for presenting findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
