Overview:
The Financial Analyst – Jenbacher North America will report to the Director Jenbacher Controlling - NAM and will be responsible for planning, pacing, closing and reporting for the Jenbacher New Units product line in US. This role supports the operational teams in the Jenbacher US entities (e.g., in Houston, Pennsylvania, New Jersey) and monitor all operational KPI’s on cash, revenue and cost.
Work Location & Structure:
This is a hybrid structured position that can based at our Trenton, NJ or Houston, TX facilities.
Responsibilities:
•Support financial planning and project execution for all new units projects in the US.
•Partner with operational leader to monitor project execution, timeline, invoicing and customer payments as well as project cost for each contract.
•Ensure accurate revenue and cost accounting across multiple legal entities, including validation that all related intercompany transactions are accounted accurately for.
•Go-to person for local project management team to support them on day-to-day activities to execute projects.
•Support month and quarter end closing activities.
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related Business Field. Master's Degree preferred.
•3+ years financial industry experience.
•Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
•Excellent communication skills and assertiveness: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information.
•Solid PC skills including experience with financial systems/applications & strong Microsoft Excel skills.
