POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to perform the general accounting and finance responsibilities related to day-to-day operational activities, monthly financial close and analysis of core operations. The ideal candidate would bring a high-level of energy, self-motivation and the ability to support and collaborate with field operations and our team members across corporate functions.
- Monthly close and reporting process, including preparation of journal entries, performing account reconciliations and variance analysis of core operations
- Timely and accurate preparation of customer billing
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and compliance with internal controls
- Prepare internal financial reports and variance analysis including identifying areas of risk and opportunities
- Partner with field operations to drive cost efficiencies through analysis of KPIs, continuous improvement, and capital projects
- Participate in monthly forecasting and preparation of annual budget
- Prepare and provide requested audit deliverables while also being able to address questions from internal and external auditors
- Participate in the implementation of new processes, procedures and ERP system
- Perform ad hoc analysis as needed
- Willing to travel as needed to our US locations
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within timelines
- Experience with Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA, and ERP implementation is a plus
- Proficiency within the Microsoft suite of products including Excel; Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience; Manufacturing environment preferred
CERTIFICATIONS:
CPA is a plus but not required
