The

Field Technician (Pipeline), Odessa Midstream

is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the equipment in their geographic area of responsibility. The role is a generalist position, intended to be qualified to perform the majority of maintenance, measurement, and repair tasks. This position provides support in the Permian Basin including areas: Big Springs, Midkiff, Odessa, and Midland.

Responsibilities May Include

Required Qualifications

+ Lift up to 50 pounds + Occasionally exerts pulling force of 130 pounds + Occasionally may climb A-frame ladders, up to 12 feet in height + Regularly stoop, squat, kneel and/or crouch for durations up to 30 minutes + Work extended hours, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays + Able to respond and remain on-call as needed + Work inside gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity + Work in loud environment + To wear personal protective equipment (such as fire-retardant clothing, steel-toe shoes, ear, and eye protection)

The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
