We’re looking for a Field Superintendent to lead onsite execution, oversee personnel and safety, and drive project delivery for complex electrical construction projects across the U.S. This role is essential in maintaining quality and performance at the field level while managing subcontractors, supporting logistics, and collaborating closely with project managers and clients.
- Lead the on-site execution of major electrical projects while enforcing safety, quality, and efficiency
- Review and interpret site drawings, conduct walkdowns, and oversee LOTO and PPE compliance
- Conduct project kickoffs with trade partners and support alignment on scope, timeline, and logistics
- Manage the work of subcontractors and electricians in electrical construction settings
- Schedule vendors, consultants, and inspectors to meet project milestones
- Track site progress, materials, and labor usage, adjusting plans as needed to ensure quality results
- Coordinate daily jobsite reporting, including logs, visitor activity, and task updates
- Identify and resolve jobsite issues, escalating concerns as needed, while ensuring compliance
- Order and track jobsite tools, supplies, and test equipment
- Oversee rigging, alignment, and installation of large components per drawings and specs
- Supervise or perform welding-related tasks, including aluminum and 6G welding oversight
- Ensure proper inspections and maintenance of all equipment
- Coordinate across multiple job sites and crews, ensuring consistent supervision and execution
- Conduct performance reviews and verify site qualifications for team members
- Lead and document job safety analysis, logs, and reports- 8+ years of experience supervising field teams in substation or electrical construction projects
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and PPE usage in field environments
- Strong working knowledge of drawings, specs, welding, and project documentation
- Comfortable managing documentation systems and reporting tools
- Ability to resolve jobsite conflicts, manage field productivity, and coordinate cross-functional activities
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be willing to travel at least 75% and work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment/random drug tests
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, crawl, climb, and work at heights or in confined spaces- Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Technology, Power Systems, or Mechanical Engineering
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- TWIC card or the ability to obtain
- 6G welding oversight or hands-on experience
- Experience managing field logistics across multiple project sites
- Prior experience in power distribution or bus system construction
- Proven ability to coordinate with utility clients or EPC contractors
