Field Service Technician

Precision Samplers, Inc., a bulk material mechanical sampling system manufacturer located in Charleston, WV requires a dedicated field / manufacturing technician to oversee the manufacturing, installation, startup, and operation of new mechanical sampling systems. Depending upon the scope of the project, the technician’s responsibilities can range from “hands on assembly" to “managing a construction crew”. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of a Technical Associates Degree in a mechanical or electrical field of study. In lieu of a technical degree, Precision Samplers would consider a candidate with a HS diploma and applicable experience. The position requires knowledge of steel erection, welding procedures, blueprint reading, electrical circuitry, PLC control operations, and civil installations. The position can require overnight stays both domestic and internationally. The candidate would be subject to background checks and drug screenings by both Precision Samplers, Inc. and our customer’s contractual requirements. A valid driver’s license is required, as well as, the ability to obtain a US Passport and Homeland Security TWIC card. Any additional certifications such as electricians license, hydraulic training, CDL, etc. is a plus.
