Field Maintenance/Operations - Collection Line Cleaning/Video Inspection

South Adams County Water & Sanitation is dedicated to providing reliable, affordable, and sustainable water resources and services in order to protect public health, the environment, and quality of life. We are looking to fill a field position in our maintenance department.

This position performs collections pipeline system tasks involving jet truck operations including:

Qualified candidates should have a High School Diploma OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid, current Colorado Driver’s License, CDL preferred, but will train. Colorado Collection Certification preferred.

Maintenance experience in water or wastewater utilities, construction or related field. Knowledge in the use of tools, equipment, mechanical and plumbing practices, as well as equipment troubleshooting, along with the use of personal protection equipment and safety devices helpful.

Proficient computer skills including knowledge of MS Office including Outlook. Solid problem solving and communication skills required.

This position requires work in a variety of conditions and locations within the district. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently is necessary.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a drug screen and background check prior to employment.

Hiring Salary Range: $20-$24/hr., with no or limited experience, level 0-1 certification

Higher hiring range for experienced/certification levels 2-4, $23-38/hr based on knowledge, skills, abilities and certifications.
