Field Delivery Advisor

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Field Delivery Advisor to join our Networks team in Somerville VIC, on a permanent fulltime basis.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will lead the project delivery in the field in accordance with health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements, quality, technical compliance and APA work practice consistency.

Key Responsibilities

- Coach, mentor and provide technical support to field delivery personnel and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects and BAU activities

- Field Change Management and implement operational initiatives and procedural changes

- Assist with Project Planning and the preparation and review of scope of works and cost estimates as agreed with the Project Manager

- Maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with APA teams and all external stakeholders

- Reporting HSE, quality matters and non-compliance of work practices ensuring they are produced in the required timelines

About You

- At a minimum, a trade certificate in a related field is preferable

- Supervisory experience in the gas industry, preferably in operations and maintenance.

- Strong commitment to safety and compliance

- Good communicator with the ability to motivate and lead a team and manage contractors.

- Proven ability to plan, schedule and prioritise work

Networks manages and operates local distribution networks and transmission pipelines that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.

This is an exciting time for the Networks team, we are growing and expanding with many new projects, including biogas and hydrogen and also the 2032 Olympics. Also, we have a strong culture of continuous improvement and working towards Net Zero with the introduction of renewable green gas into the Gas Networks.
