Pay band - $85,000 to $110,00 - DOE
Job Summary:
The Facility Engineer develops and implements projects for Maintenance. From start to finish it designs, develops, tests and implements technical improvements. This position is a resource for Maintenance Operations and Management relative to Valley operations.
1. Manage projects to improve mechanical reliability in order to maintain on-stream time and limit loss/down time of equipment. Ensure project completion on time and within approved budget. May include project planning/design, vendor bid/selection, procurement of parts and resources.
2. Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance on daily tasks to meet engineering and project needs.
3. Ensure complete project documentation, approvals, and updates including appropriate MOC and CAR to ensure continuity and safety of operations.
4. Provide mechanical engineering expertise to project planning, processes, ongoing operations, and maintenance.
5. Commit to a safe working environment free from harm ensuring personal safety and the safety of others.
6. Support and promote all the elements of the SSHE Program.
7. Maintain awareness and reinforce the importance of implementing SSHE Policy and related procedures.
8. Communicate SSHE responsibilities to employees.
9. Ensure the use of safe work practices.
10. Investigate incidents and injuries and ensure timely completion of corrective/preventive actions.
11. Possess detailed knowledge of the Production Processes in area of responsibility to include function, technical specifications, materials, reactions, stability, and compatibility.
12. Provide or manage employee job-specific training.
