We’re seeking a hands-on, people-focused leader to supervise our 1st shift Aluminum Extrusion Department in our Mosinee facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong manufacturing experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example. You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety and quality standards, and driving team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for supervising all personnel and manufacturing operations in the department.

- Maintains thorough knowledge of all manufacturing processes and equipment. Responsible for producing the best quality product at all times by ensuring all employees are trained to what customer’s expectations are, identify product for rejection, rework, etc. and all customers receive product that meets or exceeds standards/expectations.

- Lead and supervise extrusion team members and daily operations

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards

- Train, coach, and motivate employees for continuous improvement

- Monitor production efficiency and address equipment or process issues

- Maintain a clean, organized, and “customer-ready” work environment

- Collaborate with scheduling, maintenance, and management teams

- Handle employee scheduling, timekeeping, and performance feedback

Qualifications:

- 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership experience (extrusion or finishing preferred)

- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control

- Comfortable reading blueprints and using hand tools

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills

- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
