Job Purpose:
The Superintendent III is responsible for assisting the Project Managers in managing the completion of construction projects. The Superintendent III will also be responsible for onboarding and training new Superintendents that join the team. This role may require you to help with company policy roll outs and trainings. Duties also include supervising production crews, scheduling, budgeting, documenting projects as assigned. In addition to supervising crews, the Superintendent III is in charge of overseeing the work done by sub-contractors. A successful Superintendent II will have great attention to detail, ability to manage a calendar, offer feedback to struggling employees, the ability to effectively lead a team of employees and sub-contractors. A major component of this role is customer service and offering clear and accurate information to our customers. A typical Superintendent III will complete approximately $2,500,000 of projects in a year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Complete assigned projects within target margins
•Complete projects within specified timelines
•Regularly and consistently manage and produce projects up to $300,000+.
•Development of subcontractors and resource pool
•Manage the relationship between the subcontractors and the customer.
•Customer communication and service, including written schedules and timely communicate with the customer.
•Manage schedules and resources via procedures and processes in place for internal controls.
•Timely and accurate documentation of projects utilizing required software and technology.
•Writing change orders and accurate cost estimating
•Assist with collections of contract/change order payments.
•Working with building departments, engineers and architects throughout the repair process
•Problem solving skills and analytical ability.
•Always work safely by following all safety precautions and keep work area neat and organized.
•Maintain a clear driving record with the DMV.
•Take responsibility for all company owned tools and supplies by monitoring tool usage and utilizing lockboxes to secure tools overnight.

•Proficient in growing and leading strong teams and help technicians grow in role.
•Good understanding of regional or applicable code knowledge

Qualifications:
•7 years’ experience in the construction field
•Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation. This position requires travel to various job sites, with mileage reimbursement provided for the use of a personal vehicle for company business.
•Possess a CSLB HIS license or can obtain within first 90-days working.
•Possess a strong construction background and be able to communicate with Insurance Adjusters/Reps that may have very little construction knowledge.

Work Environment:
•Jobsites may vary from very clean environments to very dirty environments or other unsanitary conditions. Protective gear is available for use and is required on some heavily contaminated work sites.
•The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
•Willingness to work in environments that may involve exposure to dust, smoke, debris, mold, asbestos, or other hazardous materials, often in varying weather conditions.
•Remote work would never be option for this position
•See and hear well with or without correction to avoid safety hazards to themselves and others.
•Occasionally required to wear PPE: full and half face respirators, eye protection, gloves, and Tyvek®
