What You Bring To The Table

Beck is looking for a qualified Senior Superintendent to join an extraordinary project team. While this is an individual role, you will be involved in many facets of construction with the ability to evolve our existing operations. As the Senior Superintendent, you are primarily responsible for organizing the work, field staff management, OSHA and Beck Safety Manual implementation, the work methods utilized, scheduling, meeting cost control goals, conforming to drawings and specifications, quality of workmanship, and the assignment of work activities to consistently accomplish the best economical, safe, and efficient execution of the work on or ahead of schedule. You will be designated the lead Superintendent on large projects, integrated projects, or projects of varying complexity.


The Job Involves The Following Essential Functions

Guide the professional development of Superintendents under supervision, leading and promoting Lean Construction Practices/Principles to maximize team performance.
Understand and support integrated delivery, contributing to the success of integrated projects and actively participating in recruiting field supervision.
Participate in monthly financial plan forecasting with the lead Project Manager, controlling and reporting project progress.
Contribute to the negotiation process with subcontractors, promoting outside relationships to market Beck and the Integration model.
Understand and manage the strengths and weaknesses of project team members to maximize performance and efficiency.
Lead the planning and execution of construction projects, overseeing project plans, schedules, and ensuring completion on time and within budget.
Manage and supervise construction teams, delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure proper training for safe and effective work.
Conduct regular inspections to identify issues, ensuring compliance with Beck's Quality Assurance Program and safety regulations.
Manage the budget for construction projects, estimate costs, track expenses, and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
Identify and address problems during construction, make decisions regarding changes to project scope, timelines, and budgets.
Project Lean Champion, developing and presenting Beck superintendent training, promoting team health, and mentoring team members for career growth.
Assist in project pursuits, including reviewing scopes of work, and lead the close-out process, including punch list completion and 1-year warranty walks.

You Also Meet The Following Requirements

This position requires weekly commuting to Lubbock, Texas. A company truck will be supplied to support travel needs.

15+ years of field coordination, or relevant commercial construction project experience
College graduate with a relevant degree
Experience using Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is a plus
